Wanna Hold'em Like They Do in Texas?

Poker. Who would not love poker? It is a game that knows no boundary, no age limit, no gender preference, nothing - nada! It seems that this can be a uniting factor for a roomful of people with different origins, different age groups, different social standing, anything. Anybody can play poker!
Playing poker is just like playing in a big playground. There are several kinds of games to play in the playground, and there are lots of other children to play with. The longer one plays in the playground, the faster he masters a particular game.  Poker, then, is the playground in a big man's world. There are many types of poker to play, with many different players all around the world to play with. And the more frequent one plays a particular game, then the faster he can master the game.
There are "millions" of variations of poker. In every city, in every state, in every town there seems to be a new name and a new style of playing poker. You can see people gathered around a table with cards in hands, money or chips in the middle, all playing poker.
Stud poker is one wherein each player receives a combination of face-down and face-up in betting rounds. Examples of this are Seven-card stud and Five-card stud. Another one is draw poker. This is where all players are dealt a complete hand, and each try to improve it by replacing certain cards. Example of which is the Five-card draw.
And next is the most popular community card poker. This is where each player's incomplete hidden hand is combined with face-up cards in the table. The most common of these are Texas holdem and Omaha holdem. Texas Holdem is the all time favorite of any poker player. It is maybe because of the simplicity of the game and its being so breathtakingly dramatic. Anybody with a heart condition better refrain from playing this game!
Texas holdem has very easy-to-understand rules, which endears it to players of all shapes and sizes. Two players at the least are required for the game to start but up to nine persons can participate in any one game. The goal is to put together the best combination of five cards using two hole cards in their hands and five other community cards. Texas holdem is often referred to as the game that requires only a short time to learn and a lifetime to enjoy and master!
Because many people are really addicted to Texas Holdem, its variations have increased over the years. People take time to have a Friday Poker Game, Boys' Texas Holdem Time, Girls' Poker Time or Seniors' Play Time. No week will be complete without these poker playing times!
And for those who prefer to stay at home? There is a variety of online poker rooms that anybody can access - real and virtual players are readily available to play with stay-at-home players.
More and more people are enjoying Texas holdem poker, whether with colleagues or by themselves - just at home! Everybody can now say, "Shuffle Up and Deal!" anytime!
